In my twenties and thirties, I struggled with a hectic life—raising five kids, managing a household, and feeling overwhelmed. I relied on a poor diet and chocolate for quick energy, but it left me feeling anxious, stressed, exhausted and uncomfortable in my body. Sound familiar?
Desperate for answers, I sought help to address my fatigue and irritability. Unfortunately, my symptoms were often dismissed as normal stress and fatigue from a busy life. Feeling unheard, I persisted in my search for solutions.
Finally, after years of frustration, I found a doctor who took my concerns seriously. After thorough testing, she discovered thyroid issues, low iron levels, and hormonal imbalances were all contributing to my health struggles. I soon realized that simply taking medications, or even popping a few supplements wasn't enough—I needed to overhaul my diet and lifestyle to feel better.
Driven by my own journey, I went back to University to study Nutritional Medicine. Implementing gradual changes to my diet and lifestyle, I was able to make a significant difference. My mood improved, stress became manageable, and my overall well-being improved. I feel better now than ever before.
